Dalian sees no new COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Dalian, Liaoning province, reported no new confirmed COVID-19 cases or asymptomatic carriers on Thursday, the city's COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters said on Friday.

With its last medium-risk area lifting control measures on Friday, there are currently no high- or medium-risk areas for COVID-19 in the city.

The headquarters said the situation continues to improve in Dalian. It encouraged residents to make joint efforts to win the battle against the epidemic in order to restore normal work and life.

To consolidate the achievements of epidemic prevention and control, firmly prevent the rebound of the epidemic, the headquarters ordered a new round of regional testing in the whole city on Saturday. All Dalian residents are required to participate.
