Coming up in Act Two, Susan and Harry go to a restaurant in Susan's neighborhood. Susan knows Somsak, the owner. Somsak is from Thailand and serves Thai food in his restaurant. Somsak: What would you like to eat? Susan: I'd like the mee krob. Harry, would you like to see a menu? Harry: No. It's OK. I'll have the mee krob also. Somsak: May I bring you a salad? Susan: Oh, yes. But something is wrong, and Harry leaves the restaurant. Why is Harry leaving?
